New combo therapy aims to fix wobbly breastbone after heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07381387
First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 17 times
Summary
This study looks at whether special abdominal exercises (upper vs. lower belly) plus low-level LASER therapy can help stabilize the breastbone after open-heart surgery. About 120 adults with a wobbly breastbone will be split into four groups to compare different exercise and LASER combinations against standard rehab alone. The goal is to see which approach best reduces breastbone movement and improves daily function.
