Summary
This study aimed to evaluate a new medical device called STERN FIX, designed to hold the breastbone (sternum) together after it is cut open for heart or chest surgery. The main goal was to see how well the device kept the bone stable and to check for any safety issues. The trial was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
