NCT ID NCT05734443

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tested whether a simple step training program could help older adults (ages 65-80) recover their balance after tripping. Thirty participants either did step training, treadmill training, or no training for three weeks. Three weeks later, they were tripped in a lab to see how well they recovered. The goal was to see if this easy-to-do training works better than no training or specialized treadmill training.
