New training program aims to sharpen hockey skills and cut concussions

Summary

This study looks at whether sensorimotor and neuromuscular training can improve ice hockey skills and help prevent concussions and other injuries. About 250 ice hockey players in Calgary will take part. They will do tests, train as usual, then do the special training for 4 weeks, and be followed for injuries over the next season.
