NCT ID NCT07243457
First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Apr 25, 2026 · Updated 18 times
Summary
This study looked at 110 boys aged 1–12 years with hypospadias, a condition where the urine opening is on the underside of the penis. All had surgery to fix it, and half received a temporary tube (stent) while the other half did not. The goal was to see which approach leads to fewer leaks (fistulas) and better recovery. Results will help surgeons choose the best method.
