New stent graft aims to fix deadly aortic aneurysms without open surgery

Summary

This study is testing a new device called a stent graft to treat thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms, a life-threatening bulge in the main artery. The device is placed inside the artery through a small cut, avoiding major surgery. The study will include 11 adults aged 18 to 80 and will check if the device can be placed correctly and safely, and if it prevents the aneurysm from growing or bursting over 12 months.
