Kidney stone patients test three drugs to ease stent pain
NCT ID NCT06803030
Summary
This study compares three different medications to see which works best at reducing the pain and urinary symptoms people often experience from a ureteral stent. The stent is a small tube placed after kidney stone surgery to help urine drain. Researchers will measure symptoms using a questionnaire at different time points to determine if tamsulosin, solifenacin, or mirabegron provides better relief.
