New combo aims to outsmart tough lung cancer

Summary
This study tests whether a new combination of two oral drugs (Stenoparib and Temozolomide) works better than the current standard treatment for people whose small cell lung cancer has returned after initial therapy. About 166 adults with relapsed extensive-stage small cell lung cancer will join. Researchers will use a blood test (biomarker) to see who might benefit most from the new combo. The goal is to improve how long the cancer stays under control.
