New Bone-Saving shoulder implant aims to ease pain for arthritis patients

NCT ID NCT07421245

Summary

This study is testing a new type of shoulder replacement implant designed to be 'stemless,' which may help preserve more of a patient's natural bone. It will follow 136 adults with severe shoulder arthritis for up to 10 years to see how well the implant reduces pain, improves shoulder function, and holds up over time. The main goal is to see if patients report significantly less pain and better movement two years after surgery.
