New shoulder implant aims to restore mobility without a stem
NCT ID NCT06323980
Summary
This study is testing a new type of reverse shoulder replacement that doesn't use a long stem in the arm bone. It's for people with severe, painful shoulder arthritis who need surgery. Researchers will compare this new stemless design to a standard stemmed implant to see if it works as well and is safe over two years.
