Danish scientists test stem cell infusions to repair failing hearts

NCT ID NCT06840275

Summary

This study is testing whether two infusions of donor stem cells can help improve heart function in people recently diagnosed with a specific type of heart failure not caused by blocked arteries. It will compare the stem cell treatment to a placebo (dummy) infusion in 90 participants. The main goal is to see if the treatment safely helps the heart pump better six months later.
