Experimental stem cell injection aims to repair weakened hearts

Summary
This study is testing whether an injection of donor stem cells can help improve heart function in people with a specific type of heart failure called non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy. About 136 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the stem cell treatment or a placebo injection. Researchers will use heart scans and fitness tests to see if the treatment makes the heart pump better and improves patients' ability to exercise.
