Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Min Long Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing if injections of stem cells from donated umbilical cords can help treat nerve damage in the feet and legs caused by diabetes. About 140 adults with moderate to severe diabetic neuropathy will receive either three stem cell shots plus standard care or standard care alone over 24 weeks. The main goal is to see if the stem cells improve nerve function and reduce pain more than current treatments.
