Could a single shot help heal the womb?

NCT ID NCT05343572

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a single injection of a drug called Plerixafor can help improve the uterine lining in women with conditions that make pregnancy difficult. The drug aims to mobilize a woman's own stem cells from her bone marrow to help repair the uterus. Researchers will measure changes in the uterine lining thickness and track pregnancy and birth rates over two years to see if this approach is better than current standard treatments.
