Summary
This study provided special access to an experimental stem cell treatment for one patient with severe spinal cord injury who had no other treatment options. The patient received a single infusion of their own stem cells collected from fat tissue. Researchers monitored the patient's response and any side effects to understand if this approach might help with spinal cord injuries.
