Experimental stem cell treatment targets painful Crohn's complications

NCT ID NCT06918808

Summary

This study is testing whether a treatment made from stem cell particles can help heal fistulas (abnormal tunnels) around the anus in people with Crohn's disease. The trial will enroll 36 adults whose fistulas haven't improved with standard medications or surgery. Participants will receive either the experimental treatment or a placebo to see if it safely promotes complete fistula closure.
