Doctors test dropping a drug to make cancer transplants safer

NCT ID NCT05256537

Summary

This study is testing whether a standard stem cell transplant for blood cancers can be done safely without one of the immune-suppressing drugs (mycophenolate mofetil or MMF). The goal is to see if removing this drug reduces side effects while still controlling the cancer. The trial will follow 60 adult patients for up to two years after their transplant.
