First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 13, 2026 · Updated 30 times

Summary

This study is for people under 50 with non-cancerous blood or immune system diseases that can be treated with a donor stem cell transplant. Doctors want to see if a milder combination of chemotherapy drugs (treosulfan, fludarabine, and thiotepa) can safely prepare the body for new donor cells, with fewer severe side effects than standard high-dose chemo. The main goal is to see if the donor cells successfully take hold and start making healthy blood cells.
