New hope for faster, safer recovery after High-Risk cancer transplants

NCT ID NCT04237623

Summary

This study is testing if a drug called sargramostim can help patients recover their immune cells faster and with fewer serious infections after a half-matched stem cell transplant for blood cancers. It will involve about 38 patients who have a partially matched family donor. Researchers want to see if this drug works as well as the current standard treatment but with a lower risk of dangerous infections.
