Race to stop transplant rejection: two drug cocktails face off in major trial
NCT ID NCT06615050
Summary
This study compares two different combinations of medications given after a stem cell transplant to prevent graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), where donor cells attack the patient's body. Researchers want to see which drug combination better helps patients survive without developing severe GVHD. The trial will enroll 572 adults with blood cancers who are receiving a less intensive type of stem cell transplant.
