First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether stem cells and their tiny particles (exosomes) can safely improve movement and coordination in people with spinocerebellar ataxia, a rare brain disease. About 90 adults with the condition will receive the treatment through an IV and nasal spray. The goal is to control symptoms and slow progression, not to cure the disease.
