Experimental stem cell injection aims to rebuild muscle in arthritic knees

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety of an experimental injection called IMM01-STEM in people with muscle weakness caused by knee osteoarthritis. Up to 28 participants will receive twice-weekly injections into their thigh muscle for four weeks at different dose levels. Researchers will monitor for side effects and also check if the treatment improves knee strength, walking ability, and pain.
