Summary

This study tests whether a single infusion of donor stem cells can safely improve heart function in people with non-ischemic dilated cardiomyopathy, a condition where the heart muscle is weak and enlarged. About 136 adults with a low ejection fraction (45% or less) will receive either stem cells or a placebo. The main goal is to see if the treatment increases the heart's pumping ability over time.
