First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether injecting stem cells into the eye can help people with severe dry eye caused by graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), a complication of bone marrow transplants. About 30 adults who have not responded to standard treatments will receive either one or two doses of stem cells. The goal is to reduce eye damage, improve tear production, and ease symptoms, with safety closely monitored.
