Scientists track women for years after revolutionary stem cell treatment for early menopause
NCT ID NCT04675970
Summary
This study followed 86 women with premature ovarian failure (early menopause) for 2.5 years after they received a personalized gene therapy using their own stem cells. The goal was to check the long-term safety and see if the treatment helped restore ovarian function, measured by hormone levels and menstrual cycles. No new treatment was given during this follow-up period.
