Florida trial tests stem cell shots for kids with autism

NCT ID NCT07304440

Summary

This 2-year study is testing whether adding monthly stem cell infusions to a standard glutathione therapy helps improve autism symptoms in children more than the standard therapy alone. About 100 children ages 3-12 with autism will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard therapy or the standard therapy plus the stem cell product for the first 3 months. Researchers will track changes in autism symptoms, safety, and quality of life through parent questionnaires and regular check-ups over two years.
