Scientists probe bone Marrow's role in rare blood cancer
NCT ID NCT07471074
Summary
This study aims to understand how the normal support cells in bone marrow (called mesenchymal stem cells) might help the cancer cells in Waldenström disease survive and grow. Researchers will compare these cells from 50 patients who need treatment to cells from healthy people. The goal is to gather knowledge that could lead to future treatments targeting the cancer's environment.
