Summary
This study tests a treatment using stem cells from donated umbilical cords for people with early-stage osteonecrosis (bone death) of the hip. The goal is to see if the cells are safe and can help control the disease, possibly avoiding the need for hip replacement. The study was suspended, so results are not yet available.
