Stem cell shots tested to save limbs from rare disease
NCT ID NCT05854615
Summary
This study is observing whether injecting a stem cell product (Stempeucel®) into the leg muscles can help patients with a severe form of Buerger's disease, which causes poor blood flow, pain, and ulcers. It aims to see if the treatment can reduce pain, help ulcers heal, and improve walking, while checking for safety. The study will follow three patients in Malaysia for one year after they receive the injections.
