Stem cell shot could ease crippling knee arthritis pain

NCT ID NCT07106229

Summary

This study aims to confirm if a single injection of stem cells (MAG200) into the knee can improve pain and function for people with osteoarthritis, compared to a placebo shot. About 573 adults aged 35-75 with moderate knee arthritis who haven't gotten enough relief from standard treatments will receive one injection and be followed for about 4 years. The goal is to see if this treatment can provide lasting relief and potentially slow down the progression of the disease.
