Scientists test Lab-Grown heart cells to repair damage after heart attacks

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether heart muscle cells grown from human stem cells can be safely delivered to patients with chronic heart damage from a previous heart attack. The main goal is to find the safest dose and see if the procedure is feasible. Researchers will enroll 18 adults who have reduced heart function despite standard medications.
