Tiny stem cell particles may save your jawbone after tooth pull

NCT ID NCT07508033

First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 16 times

Summary

This study compares two treatments to help jawbone heal after a tooth is removed: a standard blood-based product (PRF) and a newer option made from stem cell particles (exosomes). About 40 adults needing a single tooth extraction will receive one of these treatments. Researchers will use 3D X-rays after three months to see which method better preserves bone density and shape for future dental implants.
