Summary
This study compares a new stem cell bone repair kit to the standard surgery that uses bone from the hip to fix gaps in the upper jaw of children with cleft lip and palate. About 205 children aged 6 to 11 will take part. The goal is to see if the stem cell approach works as well or better, with a shorter hospital stay and less pain.
