New tool aims to close STEM gap for black students

Summary
This study will test a media-enhanced tool designed to help Black middle school students and their parents learn STEM vocabulary and academic skills at home. About 138 families will use the tool and researchers will measure changes in vocabulary knowledge, mindset, and study habits. The goal is to see if a culturally relevant home-based program can support student success in STEM.
