New cancer vaccine trial offers hope for advanced colon cancer patients

Summary

This trial is testing a new immunotherapy called STC-1010 for people with advanced colorectal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. The study will first find the safest dose, then test if adding STC-1010 to standard chemotherapy helps control cancer growth better. About 90 patients in Europe and the US will participate to see if this combination improves survival without the cancer getting worse.
