First seen Feb 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This early-stage study will give three different statins (atorvastatin, rosuvastatin, simvastatin) to 100 healthy volunteers for two days. Researchers will measure changes in blood pressure and heart electrical activity (ECG) to see if these drugs have short-term effects on the heart in people without high cholesterol or heart disease. The goal is to gather knowledge, not to treat any condition.
