Scientists test heart drugs on healthy volunteers
NCT ID NCT07389304
Summary
This early-stage study aims to understand how three common cholesterol-lowering drugs (statins) affect blood pressure and heart electrical activity in healthy people. Researchers will give 100 healthy volunteers different doses of these drugs for just two days and closely monitor their hearts. The goal is to gather basic safety information about how these medications might influence the cardiovascular system in people without existing health problems.
