Heart drug duo tested for better results

NCT ID NCT06520891

Summary

This study aims to see if taking two common heart medications together—a statin and an SGLT2 inhibitor—is more effective for managing ischemic heart disease than taking either drug alone. Researchers will enroll 90 patients and split them into three groups to compare the treatments over three months. They will track cholesterol levels and other blood markers to understand how the drugs interact and affect heart health.
