Heart artery blockage study tests Two-Step timing approach
NCT ID NCT05089864
Summary
This study looked at the best timing for placing stents in patients whose heart arteries couldn't be fully opened during the first procedure. Researchers compared placing stents 5-7 weeks versus 12-14 weeks after the initial attempt in 150 patients with completely blocked arteries. The goal was to find the safest and most effective approach for this two-step treatment strategy.
