Summary
This study compared a stannous fluoride toothpaste paired with a new toothbrush to a standard Colgate toothpaste and regular toothbrush for reducing plaque and gingivitis. 95 adults with mild to moderate gum inflammation and plaque buildup brushed twice daily for 3 months. Researchers measured plaque and gum health at the start, after 1 week, 6 weeks, and 3 months to see which combo worked better.
