First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 37 times
Summary
This study looked at why Zuni elders fall more often than other older adults and tested a home exercise program to improve strength and balance. 113 tribal members aged 65 and older at high fall risk took part. The goal was to see if a community health worker-led program could help prevent falls and help elders stay independent.
