Summary
This study aims to see if using a standard method for cervical ripening (preparing the cervix for labor) increases the chance of a vaginal delivery. Researchers will compare two approaches: a balloon catheter alone versus a balloon catheter plus medication. The study involves 1,158 pregnant women at full term who are scheduled for labor induction.
