Can striped stairs stop falls? researchers investigate
NCT ID NCT07337317
Summary
This study aims to find out if painting striped patterns on the edges of stairs helps older adults step more safely, which could lower their risk of falling. Researchers will measure how closely people's feet come to the step edge as they walk up and down stairs with different stripe patterns. They will compare results between older adults with and without vision problems to see who benefits most.
