First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 33 times

Summary

This study tests a new gel form of the chemotherapy drug gemcitabine (ST-02) for people with low-grade cancer in the upper urinary tract. The gel is placed directly into the kidney through a small tube, once a week for six weeks, to destroy tumors. Researchers want to see if it can clear the cancer by three months and how safe it is. About 70 adults with small, low-grade tumors will take part.
