First seen May 04, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study tests whether giving extra oxygen directly to the heart for 60 minutes after a heart attack improves recovery. About 434 adults with a specific type of heart attack will be randomly assigned to receive either standard care or this extra oxygen therapy. The goal is to see if this approach reduces the risk of death, repeat heart attacks, or other serious heart problems over one year.
