Summary

This study aims to understand what causes systemic sclerosis (SSc), a rare and serious disease that causes hardening of the skin and lungs. Researchers will collect blood, skin, and DNA samples from 150 people with SSc in Sweden to find markers that predict disease activity and treatment response. The goal is to improve diagnosis and identify new drug targets, but this study does not test any treatment.
