Researchers test a calculator to replace the tape measure for squats

NCT ID NCT07297485

Summary

This study aimed to see if a simple calculator, based on leg bone measurements, could be as good as the standard tool for finding the right squat position. Researchers compared the calculator's results to measurements taken with a handheld angle-measuring device called a goniometer. The goal was to find a faster, easier, and more consistent way to set up a specific wall squat exercise used in blood pressure research.
