Can dads in the delivery room calm Moms' fears? new program aims to find out
NCT ID NCT06453811
Summary
This study tested whether a special childbirth preparation program that includes the pregnant woman's spouse can help reduce fear and increase confidence about delivery. It involved 120 first-time mothers and their partners. One group attended the two-session program, while the other received only standard hospital care, to see if the extra support made a difference in fear levels, confidence, and how the birth went.
