Summary
This study tested a two-session childbirth preparation program where spouses actively participate, based on self-efficacy theory. It involved 120 first-time mothers and their partners. The goal was to see if the program could lower fear of childbirth, boost self-confidence, and influence the type of delivery. The experimental group received the program plus routine care, while the control group had only routine care.
