Water vs. sports drinks: which hydrates you better after a workout?
NCT ID NCT07468539
Summary
This study aimed to find out if sports drinks are better than plain water at rehydrating people after exercise in hot conditions. Researchers had 17 active adults exercise until they lost some body weight through sweat. They then measured how well different drinks—two sports drinks and water—helped the body retain fluid and restore hydration levels.
